What the hell am I doing with a blog?! Like I have a lot of time on my hands. But one of the toughest aspects of running a small press is getting the word out to everyone. So, here's where I'll try to keep crime fiction lovers updated on future BFP releases, as well as news on previous publications. Thanks so much for visiting! I'd love to hear what you think.
But, firstly, I'd like to extend the best of luck to four Busted Flush Press authors that are up for awards at this weekend's Bouchercon Mystery Convention in Baltimore: Reed Farrel Coleman, Megan Abbott, Ken Bruen, and, of course, Daniel Woodrell, whose chilling noir tale ("Uncle") in BFP's A Hell of a Woman: An Anthology of Female Noir is up for an Anthony Award for Best Short Story. Good luck, everyone!!

I'll post it right away. Oh, and you should tell crimespot to include it on their site. Graham Powell runs it if you didn't know. Patti
Thanks, Patti!
And how could I forget Cornelia Read's "Hungry Enough," which is up for the 2008 Shamus Award for Best Short Story?? Sorry, Cornelia! :-)
Welcome to the blogosphere, David. And thanks Patti for the link. So, David, is there where we'll get some sneak peeks on upcoming projects?
Wow. That's embarrassing. My question you answered in the first paragraph. Guess it was a coffee jolt that blinded me. Apologies.
Get in. Welcome to the world of blogging. Just wait until your first post about having nothing to post about.
Ray, My problem is I talk too much (as McKenna can attest). Reigning me in will be tough. Thanks sfor dropping by! You, too, Scott! Scott, you coming to Reed's signing??
David, I'm reading A Hell of a Woman right now and am looking forward to more Busted Flush Press offerings. Anyway, welcome aboard the blog train. And thanks for adding the independent bookstores links. I believe in buying from the indies first if I can.
Hi David,
Welcome to the blogosphere!
Terrie
David T.
I'll try to make the Coleman signing. Although he's speaking on behalf of his new book, I'm reading Moe Prager #1: Walking the Perfect Square. Look for my review on a Tuesday in the near future.
Thanks, David & Terrie! David, if you're enjoying A HELL OF A WOMAN, don't miss DAMN NEAR DEAD, the first BFP anthology. There are some damn good stories in there. :-)
Welcome to the Blogosphere and say goodbye to at least twenty-five minutes of free time a day.
Hello, I came via Patti Abbott's blog. Welcome to blogland!
I dabble in writing crime fiction so I would be interested in seeing (reading) your take on publishing.
25 minutes? I can only hope. :-)
I'll definitely share thoughts on publishing at some point... I can also offer a bookseller POV, as well.
So glad you've joined the blogging world! Looking forward to reading yours.
Hey David,
I'm a little late to the party here, but welcome aboard.
It is amazing how many of the authors that you have published have also done stories for me at CrimeWav. Cornelia's story is very good
Thanks, Seth!! You're doing some great stuff at Crivewav.com.
